I noticed in a lot of fiction there is a lot of plants that can move and that got me thinking can we make a plant species to functional limbs

  1. The amount of changes you’d have to make would make it so at that point it’s no longer really a plant and any possible attempt at this would probably be better off making an animal more like a plant – which some animals already do (look up kleptoplasty).

Just get a cat and glue some plants to it. About as close as it’ll get without billions in investment.

    Look up mandrake

If you mean something like a pikmin with limbs they can consciously control, you’re better off starting with one of those slugs that has algea in its skin.

*Codariocalyx motorius* waves it’s smaller leaflets in noticeable fashion. *Dioanea muscipula* closes it’s traps pretty fast and *Mimosa pudica* leaves react to touch. But that’s closest you (currently) can get with rapid plant movement.

Look up Chaenostoma cordatum, it’s called the pikmin flower for a reason

You can get colourful clay from your local craft store. There are even some kinds that you can bake in your oven to harden.

    That’s your best bet.

Or tape a daisy to a hamster?

I think someone’s been partaking in certain plants a bit too liberally…
