A pretty dumb location for an oak tree. Literally any home insurance policy here in New England would cancel you or demand you remove that tree

I mean, the trunk might break into the roof structure before the tree dies from having its roots entombed like that. Or, the tree might live another hundred years – although I’m not sure how long before the roof gets damaged. General rule is to keep new hardscape limited to 1/3 of the roots and keep it several feet from the trunk. It doesn’t mean that what you’ve done here will 100% kill the tree, but it sure upped the chances. Roots don’t just need water; they also need oxygen.
