My trick for killing all pests:
Spray heavily with an isopropyl alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, soap, and water mixture. The ratios aren’t super important but I like 1/6 alcohol, 1/3 hydrogen peroxide, a couple drops of dish soap, and a little bit of castille soap. Use a makeup brush after spraying to rub into crevices on leaves and petioles. Let it sit for an hour. Then aggressively spray off with water — ideally a sink spray head but shower or hose work as well. This will kill or otherwise remove spider mites, thrips, mealy bugs, what have you.
Then to disrupt the lifecycle so they don’t come back, add some bonide systemic pesticide into the top couple of inches of soil and water thoroughly.
That’s pretty much it. Quick, easy, effective, lasting.

Cut off badly damaged leaves. Treat with a product containing Azadirachtin for best results. Do NOT use a product containing imidacloprid, that will only make it worse. For now, spray it thoroughly with water at a minimum.
