I just got a couple of cuttings and, I had one but it’s rotting, so I ended up getting 2 more from a job that I worked on and was wondering on how long I have to wait to let it callus over and if I should use and root hormone to encourage root development, I didn’t wait too long on the first cutting (2 days) and was watering it daily since I had it in full sun.

Root hormone won’t hurt, let it dry 7–10 days in shade, then either plant it or prop up in a bucket with sand or perlite then plant it. I do the sand step because you don’t want to water without roots, can contribute to rot. I use half pumice half coco coir with a top dressing of worm castings for medium. Slowly introduce it to full light and your cuttings will start growing in no time.
