These are my first lithops. I’ve done a good bit of reading, and YouTube watching. The rock isn’t decorative, it’s lithop specific soil from rooting for you plant nursery (.com). It’s a deep pot, for a long tap root. I’m going to give them a few days to adjust from shipping to direct grow light for 10 hours a day. I plan to give them a light watering in about 5 days, being careful to only water the soil, not the plant directly. Then a heavier soak about a week later. After that, I guess just watch for heavy wrinkling before watering more. I understand the younger lithops need more frequent waterings than older, larger ones.
Just want to make sure I’m on the right path! Thanks!

Is ur soil 90% grit?
That’s a large pot. Be careful watering… it will take longer for it to dry out.
They look great! Such neat plants.
