Earlier this summer, I repotted my hibiscus plant. Since then, it hasn’t produced any flowers, the leaves have become soft, and the soil stays wet for a long time even without watering. I tried giving it more sunlight by bringing it outside, but there has been no improvement. (See pictures before and after repotting.)

I’d remove the rocks, fluff up the soil and add more with fertilizer. Hibiscus needs a lot of water, they are from tropical environments. The key thing is that it needs more drainage. The dirt could be too compacted.
