Might be mistaken but don’t people usually misuse these?

I’d bet good money they did that to trick people who were going to pick up a Scott’s Elite and just remember “the good one is the black one.”

Mf’ers said less make this bitch out nothing but plastic, and let’s charge $50!
Crash30458
I bought mine a few years ago for 35. I’m curious why they are shit?
BebopRocksteady82
I prefer a hand spreader
Maleficent-League863
I realize most people can’t get a $700 lesco commercial spreader, but these belong in an incinerator.
MiniB68
It’s a fertilizer spreader and a lawn striper all in one!
Acceptable_Cabinet53
I’ve never had any problems with mine as long as you read the instructions right? What’s the deal with them?
StraitChillinAllDay
Truly innovative
Efficient-Video-9454
Mine has been pretty good, although it’s about worn out. I get there are better, commercial models but I really don’t know if the price warrants it for a homeowner
Hot_Low_3622
I used a StaGreen for about 15 years. I put it in the trash when I bit the bullet and bought a Lesco 80 pound stainless model. Dang near 700 bucks after a discount and tax.
Figured I’d not be that impressed with it but it’s a smooth spreader. Light years ahead of the StaGreen.
Worth 700? No. 400 tops.
But it’s a joy to use.

I’ve had one for years and it does the job great. I don’t know what you all are doing.

I have the one on the left. I have honestly never had an issue or any noticeable deficiency. Now the handle is a little wonky 10 years later.
DunArame
Never had a problem with it.
Dragon_Crisis_Core
For that price, my hands are just as good at spreading them seeds.
jjd775
Good for spreading ice melt that’s about it.
Serious-Objective533
Ok, so everyone agrees that these suck, what’s a spreader that everyone likes that doesn’t cost $1000?
