

This plant means a lot to me; my family spent a significant amount of money transferring my grandpa's cycas from his lawn after he moved. And now it seems that one is leaning, and the bottom half of the plant appears to be rotted. The little spines are flexible and sad looking đ What can we do?

Hmm so planting it next to something that blocks light was a mistake, it’s leaning away from the darkness and towards the light. Or it’s rotting at the base and leaning because it can’t support itself.
I would repost in /r/Cycads
There are some real pros over in that subreddit.
