It's a sacrificial plant with pointy tips I purposefully got, to make the /pests/ leave all my other plants alone. It's working – could help other plant parents out lol.
Possible suspects attached.
It's thriving otherwise. Watered when top 1-2 inches dry and in full sun.

lol I use a ponytail palm for this purpose. the poor thing is still livin 7 years later and hasn’t grown an inch.
