We got this calathea from our local nursery (Australia). I thought this is a popular calathea but not many people posted Pink Aurora on reddit. Is this rare?
I’m in the southern US, and I’ve only seen it offered once at a specialty plant store. They wanted $40 for it, so I passed. I think it really depends on where you live.

I’m in Australia, and I’ve seen them around online but not a lot in stores. Most places market them as Silver Plate, though I’m pretty sure they are more likely pink aurora as you say. Yours is quite mature and still has pink on the leaves, whereas silver plate loses that pink as it matures. 🩷💚
