Just bought this Purple Passion Plant from my local reptile store. I'm admiring its iridescent, purple fuzz!

Do not forget to water her! I had a huge one and I forgot she wilted lied down and dried up! I only managed to save a cutting the size of yours. The good thing is she gets long and you cut her back remove the two bottom leaves and shove her in the ground and she’ll root and where you cut will branch. Her only issue is she’s so thirsty! But oh so pretty

The information I gleaned, that worked well for me in practice, suggests taking cuttings and propagating them, especially if any stems lose their lower leaves! The original plant will come to the end of its life in just a few years (unlike some other plants that can live for decades!). But the cuttings can live on in multiple generations, when they receive the type of care they want.

I had one that got a little too much sun and promptly shriveled up and turned to dust. It was so dramatic.
