Newbie here just wondering can flowers change colors or fade. The 1st pic was when I got it and the 2nd more white one was taken today. I’ve had this one for a couple months now. There was no tag found it at a big box store.

    Yes, yes they can. Some types of coloring can change more than others.

    Yes, the conditions that they’re grown in can affect the colors quite significantly! I had one that was a pale pink when I bought it, but now blooms a magenta color.

    I have a rivermist shadows that I got in May from Appalachian Violets, where they pick 5. The first blooms are white, but started getting pinker, now the latest bloom has a magenta edge and it’s been really surprising me how gorgeous it is. Varigated leaf, girl foliageb which had me in love. Changing the lighting shows the biggest difference.
