  1. That's exactly the problem I'm having this summer, it's been an average temperature of 90 degrees, it's August 13th, and no ripened tomatoes yet.

  2. My plants wouldn't even grow until about 3 weeks ago. If I got a ripe tomato, it was the size of a dime. They were live beautiful plants that were doing nothing. One plant stayed about 6 in tall. It's been the weirdest tomato-growing season ever. So thankful they are finally producing fruit, hopefully I'll get a late harvest.

  3. This season has been a patience season for tomatoes in Michigan. I finally got my first bowl of tomatoes before yesterday's rain. I should have needed to put up my harvest table already!

  4. My tomatoes were so tough to grow this year. I have one that’s still only about 4 inches from March when I started them! The plants that did grow, grew beautiful. ❤

  5. It's been so hot in Detroit Michigan and I have lots of roma tomatoes on the vines but they are not ripening on the vine. I picked some and put them in the window and they still are taking a long time to ripen. Should I put up some type of shade coverings?

  6. Yep. First timer on determinant roma. And Brussel along with cauliflower and red bell peppers. My problem is panick due to problem #3…and weather being HOT AND HUMID…sigh. The lessons we encounter. 😂

  7. they've been slow this season cuz of the very hot weather. but so far I did get a few and took some green tomatoes as well to ripen in my kitchen counter.
