Usual Steins sale is in effect: Milorganite $9.99 a bag. I'll also mention their own top soil is high grade; filtered, no rocks wood or mulch, about $2.50 a bag, 3/4 cu ft I believe.
For what it's worth, Fleet Farm has Milo for $11.99 too, in case those are near anyone outside of WI (Illinois, Iowa, Michigan)

Milorganite — bleh. I prefer to use fertilizer that actually has nitrogen in it. I get 50lbs of 33-0-0 for $18, and it works a hell of a lot better than that stuff.

Milorganite is so 2019.
*No K… no way.*
Edit – for those that apparently don’t get it … Milorganite has ZERO potassium (element letter K)… which is bad for an established turf grass… Good grief.
I wouldn’t put it on my lawn for free.
They get the fresh shit.
That’s ass
I’m more of a moorganite guy
I made the mistake of putting this literal shit on my lawn a few years back… the smell was horrific and did not go away for about 8 months. The worst part was that there was absolutely no change at all noticeable from using this.
Give 100 bags!
Milo is still king!
Everyone on here hates on it. I love it, works great
Could someone explain to me when this sub started hating Milo for a reason other than price? If someone posted this 5 years ago we’d be losing our minds

Guess I’ll have to drive an hour across the border…
Spring time they do 5 bags for 35 bucks for future reference
I tried Milo for 3 seasons in a row. First season, the lawn looked great, big improvement. Second and Third seasons looked like I didn’t put down anything. Lawn looks terrible. I’ll try something else for the next application.
Incorrect. Spread first bag last weekend. NWI
Why the fuck would I pay that for 6-4-0 fertilizer? You have to dump a ton of it on your lawn to get the equivalent of a more concentrated blend.
The reason people used milorganite was it used to be a couple bucks a bag. It’s not special, it doesn’t have special properties, you get more bang for your buck buying something else these days.
Beyond that it has a ton of phosphorus which really isn’t great for many lawns that don’t need it and can cause runoff problems in waterways.
Edit: OP either works for the company or has some unhealthy parasocial issues with a fertilizer
