Hey everyone,
I’ve got a bit of a weird problem and I’m hoping someone can help me out. I’ve noticed some mushrooms growing underneath our artificial turf, and they’re kind of creeping up behind the siding of our house. I even took a picture of the area where I scraped them out using a screwdriver.
I’m wondering if this is a serious issue or if it’s something I can handle myself. I was thinking about spraying a high concentration of vinegar through the turf to kill the mushrooms in the ground. Would that work, or should I be looking into something else?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

To be clear (sorry, I do not know how to edit a post), they are growing in the tiny gap between the turf and foundation, up the foundation, behind the siding.
If you can figure out how to dry the soil out you might be ok. I am happy to see them because it gives me false hope that the soil in my yard isn’t completely useless.
How close are they to your house? It could be sign of a leak from your house or the foundation.
Personally, I would rip up a bit and see how wet the ground is.
Mushrooms only grow in moist soil, which isn’t condusive to healthy houses
Maybe they like microplastics? /s
Since when is artificial turf gardening?
mushrooms just mean the soil underneat 8s healthy. doesn’t mean anything.
Rip out the turf, to start.
