My white princess just produced its first full white leaf and i absolutely love it. I think it is beautiful, but i’ve heard that it’s bad for the plant and that I should cut it off. Is that true?

They are bad for the plant, and moreso themselves. The rest of the plant may let them live. But energywise they are parasites.

I don’t know if they’re bad for the plant, but they do use up metabolites/nutrients and don’t produce any since they are unable to do photosynthesis.

She looks fine. It’s just lacking chlorophyll entirely in that leaf. If it starts producing only white leaves then you might end up with an issue. I wouldn’t cut it.

If I get 2 all or mostly white leaves in a row I usually chop it to where they grew.

No. Not at all. You are just lucky. It is caused by a harmless virus very similar to any variegated plant. Fire and ice hosta, for example.

It’s fine. You seem to have a white wizard and not a white princess. My white wizard does this once in a while, and the white leaves stay fine, and the plant is ok

No, just check if the new leaf is coming with green áreas. It will be ok
