Thrips, as others have said. Fungus gnats are completely tolerable compared to these. Thrips will kill your plant – fungus gnats are only annoying. Unless of course you were confusing adult thrips (they fly) with fungus gnats. If you have other plants, you need to check them all and quarantine any with signs of thrips. Look for the larvae – they are similar in size and shape as what’s in your picture but are beige/tan. Harder to see. You’ll have to treat this plant every 3-4 days for a few weeks to fully eradicate the thrips. If you have other plants, quarantine this immediately. You’ll regret it if you don’t.
