I inspected the soil and saw no sight of pests or bugs. I removed as much soil as I could without tearing up the roots and they look healthy. Are these marks just scars or something? There is green underneath the one I scraped off.
Doesn’t look too concerning. I assume you’re repotting – make sure you get all that organic soil out of the roots.

To this beginner they look great. Better than many I see here. On the other hand I first read cosmic instead of cosmetic, so my opinion is questionable at best.

Cosmetic, but could be edema scars from past overwatering.
I’d actually rinse the roots of all of these plants to get every bit of that organic mess off. Then let them dry overnight and replant in dry soil that’s 80-100% inorganic grit. That way, they’ll have time to branch out and build some hair roots in a good medium before it’s time to water them.

Cosmetic and normal with age.
