Edible and used for insect bites

Hey everybody, this is spider wart plant native to North America. It’s in the uh tradcantia genus. I believe this is tradantia Ohioensus. Could be Virginiaiana, but I think it’s Ohioensus. Uh anyhow, all parts of this plant are edible. And the uh break the stem in half and rub the sap on an insect bite can uh relieve the uh sting from an insect bite. So, how pretty is that purple with the yellow anthers coming up?
