Am I allowed to like this? Do you have a name for it? Is it poisonous in any way?

I like how it looks, more than the lawn, and I might let it take over the garden if I get the green light 🤭🤞

Looks like vinca minor (lesser periwinkle). A useful ground cover plant for shady spots and not poisonous.

Looks like common periwinkle, which is native to your region and quite fine for you to enjoy. It’s invasive in North America.

Agreed, it’s a Vinca minor. It likes both sun and shade, and will bloom more in sun. Trimming it occasionally will encourage it to branch and thicken… Very drought tolerant once established.

Well, that all depends; do you feel like you made the most out of the last 7 days?

It escaped from my garden into my woods and it is growing fast over the forest floor.

    I don’t like it.

It’s invasive I’m afraid. Vinca minor. It will escape into the wild and destroy native habitats.
