Received half a dozen of these from a schools food bank. They taste like a mix between a cherry and a peach. Smooth yellow skin, yellow juicy flesh, almond shaped pit about half the size of a peach pit. The flesh was almost stringy. There was a stem attached to one that looked just like a cherry stem.

It’s a lemon plum 🙂 that’s why it has the little nub on the bottom. Was it super sweet? Theyre best if you let them ripen just a bit more so they get a pink/orange blush
