COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) – The winners have been announced for the 2025 Growing Good Kids book award.
It’s an honor given to garden and ecology-themed children’s literature through the Junior Master Gardener program.
“These are all really special because the JMG program and the American Horticultural Society get together and then just decide on the top five horticultural-theme books each year,” said Miranda Skaggs with Texas A&M AgriLife.

“It’s very prestigious and they’re definitely implemented into our program curriculum,” said Skaggs.
