  1. Anything with 2,4-d should work, but that “lawn” is so cooked, you could also just use glyphosate to kill everything and start over. I don’t see a single blade of desirable grass.

Pretty good results with lawn weed killers containing 2,4-D

  3. herein2024

Celsius at the high rate. If you don’t care about saving the grass then 41% glyphosate.

Pretty sure that’s spurge. 24D, Dicamba mix, common at your box stores. Also agree with above, nuke and start over if the whole yard looks like that

Basically any big box weed killer should knock that down.

Pull them. Or A healthy does of any pesticide like glyphosate, 2-4-D, or Dicamba

Isn’t that just spurge? Have you tried using your hands?

The dreaded Spurge! Aptly named, my most contentious weed. These suckers are the bane of anyone who wants a lawn! Ingeniously designed, the underside of their leaf is white, which tricks the surrounding greenery into attempting to grow towards it for light. But they don’t get any light! When you kill it, you’ll discover any areas underneath it, are dead.

  9. It’s best to pull them so you don’t leave the seeds on the ground, but ChangeUp will kill it.

I had them last year! I broke up the soil with an aerator n put down new grass seeds to overcrowd them! And it worked!!

Weed torch, black plastic cover for 6 months or good old diesel fuel if you’re putting rock down afterwards 😉 kills everything!

Celsius WG did wonders for me, plus, it can be applied in the heat, unlike the overwhelming majority of other herbicides. The 20$ packets are available on Amazon, and I cannot recommend it enough.

Knickz88 is right. Those are loaded with seeds and if you leave them even if they’re dead you’ll just be starting all over once they germinate. To get ahead of the seed cycle, you’ll have to pull. Get the taproot.

Do it when the time is right so you can also reseed. So if the Wedd B Gone or Roundup you use says wait two weeks to seed, treat it when the weather will be right two weeks from then, and have the stuff ready to go down, topsoil and seed and straw…. otherwise you’re just going to get a yard full of weeds again. Then in March of next spring put down Prodiamine as instructed, and your new lawn will come back with a lot less weeds and you’ll be on your way to a new lawn.
