The Divine Pet Shard Fried gear is a limited-time item, as the only way you can get it is as a reward from Chris P.’s Kitchen. This is part of the Chris P. Bacon Cooking Event, where you can cook up recipes and give them to the pig chef. The tough part is that there isn’t a guarantee you’ll get the Pet Shard Fried gear item.
Since it’s a Divine item, you’ll want to try and give Chris P. at least a Divine meal or even a Prismatic one for a chance at getting it. Other tricks to potentially get the Pet Shard Fried are to cook bigger meals using large fruit and/or feeding Chris P. their craving.

What Does the Pet Shard Fried Do?
The Pet Shard Fried applies the Fried pet mutation to any pet you use it on. This will override a mutation if your pet already has one. The benefit of this item is that you don’t have to get your pet to age 50 to use the Pet Mutations machine, where you have a chance to get any mutation.
The Fried pet mutation makes it so your pet can apply the Fried Mutation to a nearby fruit every so often. It’ll also change the overall color and look of your pet, making them a crisp brown.
How to Use a Pet Shard Fried
Locate it in your backpack or on the hotbar at the bottom of the screen, then click or tap on a pet you want to use it on. Make sure you’re ready to use it and have your pet already in your garden. The last thing you want to do is use this gear item on the wrong pet since it’s a tough one to get.
