Hi, I’m just setting up my new paludarium! It is in the very early stages right now I’m researching what kind of frogs I want to get and I just finished sealing the bottom of the enclosure. I was just wondering if anybody has any recommendations on where I can find a reputable Vietnamese mossy tree frog breeder either online or in Colorado! I have also looked into fire bellied toads, and maybe some poison dart frogs as well. Haven’t really decided. Let me know if you have any good suggestions!

My $.02. Too much water for poison darts and mossy frogs are nocturnal so you’ll won’t be seeing much of them. Fire Bellied are daytime, not shy, easy to feed, and can handle wider temperatures and humidity swings. They are escape artists so make sure to have a tight lid with no gaps and lock ( I found out the hard way). I got mine from Reptile Show, $40, but a pet store here in LA has them often for $20.
Also, make sure you have easy access to your pump filter media to clean.
