Got my alocasia frydeck in the mail after 10 days of being lost in an ups facility. I’ve bottom watered it and given it good sunlight. If anyone has any ideas or tips to help it perk back up, please let me know!
They hate being moved so it may drop most or all leaves. Give it good light, and if it does drop them al keep soil lightly moist until it regrows.

After that long I would give her a big big drink. Thoroughly soak her.

I have over 80 plants and couldn’t keep this one alive… though i did get a corm and it is about to put out its first leaf! If it goes more downhill check for corms as backup. Best wishes to you these are super cool

My frydek had to wait for new leaves to come in to fully adjust. All the old leaves were saggy, but the new leaves after I got it were more firm. It just needs time and care.

It may take some time to adjust to your space. It may even lose all of its leaves, but don’t give up on it because they can still bounce back! Also, I wouldn’t bottom water these guys, they really like moisture, so don’t be afraid to water it until the water comes out the drainage holes.

10 days?! cut your plant some slack haha i’d be sad if i was lost in a dark box for 10 days too. if it doesn’t perk up after a while i’d go with semihydro. all my alocasias are in semi hydro and growing well

It wasn’t receiving any light for a long time. If it were mine I would be very careful about checking to make sure the soil is drying adequately. You want it to dry in fewer than 7 days right now. If the soil is staying wet, don’t worry about upsetting it, it’s got to get out of that soil or it’s doomed to root rot.

Not sure what your soil looks like, but they definitely enjoy a chunky mix, and don’t want to completely dry out before getting another drink.

I couldn’t ever keep this one alive, tried it twice and we just did not mesh well
