Mr. Crabgrass came through with a vengeance this year, couple that with a few projects and couple years of neglect, and it's an uphill battle.
I think this sub has my back. I used the search function like an autist and having chemicals delivered to my home like a chemist.
Took some time off work for Labor Day weekend waaaaay in advance, initially intended for vacation. Instead I'm finna put this all this knowledge I learned from this sub to work.
Made arrangements to rent an aerator, procuring several yards of screened black dirt to be dropped off in the driveway, and 100lbs of Twin City Resilience II on deck to be seeded. Can't forget the top soil spreader to save my back.
In the mean time I'm taking care of the nuisance weeds. I started off with some Drive XLR8 + MSO surfactant + blue dye. Got a lot of the crabgrass on the first pass but had to do a second spray 72 hrs later since it was obvious what I did/did not hit.
Next week it's life in the fast lane cause I'll be Speedzoning.

Ok, this is weird.
Also Minnesota. Also killing my crabgrass currently. Also have the week of Labor Day off to aerate, level and reseed with Twin City Seed. One difference is I went with Tuff Turf.
