My cooperi is making a new plant. should I leave it alone or rip the budding plant from the base and repot it?

  1. Leave it for now. It’s still too tiny to remove. Rule of thumb is to wait until it’s 1/3 the size of the mother plant before removing.

    She is too small to remove, the probability of dying is very high. Wait for it to get bigger and start to emit its own root system.

  3. Leaving it or not depends upon what you’re trying to do with the plant. If you want a single giant rosette, you remove offsets. If you want a lovely multi-headed clump, you leave them. It’s entirely a personal/aesthetic choice.

    yeah leave it I killed a gasteraloe pup taking it too soon

    Leave it alone and let it develop and later when it’s large enough it can be removed and repotted. More new growth should emerge over time.
