Working on building a home for my family in the middle of ten wooded acres and this tree was hit a few times by the guy with the dozer that did my driveway. With this much bark gone I don’t know if this tree is in it for the long haul or no especially considering Poplar isn’t the longest lived of species. I’m not lacking for trees on the property but I did leave the ones by the driveway intentionally for privacy.
