It was in the "As-Is" section of the store! It doesn't have a cork lid, but, I can lathe a wood ball, stain and polish it up for a stopper. Or my Hubs could carve me a wood stopper. I want to keep the moisture inside.
The hardest part is getting rocks and pebbles into the bottom without breaking the glass bottom. Then the netting. The dirt will be easy. I have a bucket filled with the mix of perlite, tropical plant soil, worm casings, and coco fibers that a redditor told me was good for terrariums l. Then I'll have to put the moss down amd the plants.
Thats a lot to ask that jar opening.
But my original dream was to put a Greek Temple, some broken columns and a 3" Artemis statue I found in a miniatures shop, to be knocked over and partially buried in the moss. I planned on putting some moss slurry on the pieces so it all blemds… kinda.
If you guys bought this shape of a jar, what kind of layout would you do?
