The Brisley Bell near Dereham has been featured in the prestigious Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) round-up celebrating the UK’s most beautiful and botanically impressive pub gardens.
The gardening charity praised the two-acre garden for its “clever mix of open areas and tucked-away corners”.

“With the existing willow, Pinus nigra and apple trees used as a backbone for the design, and local materials sourced wherever possible, this garden feels deeply rooted in place.”

“We’ve poured so much love and time into the garden over the past decade, so to receive this seal of approval from such a respected organisation is really special,” Ms Nicholson said.

The pair bought the 17th-century coaching inn in 2015 and brought it back to life after four years of closure.

Mr Seaman and gardener Steve Jenkins dedicate around 35 hours a week to the garden during the growing season to ensure it continues to look its best all year round.
Last month, the pub received similar recognition from Muddy Stilettos for having one of the UK’s best pub gardens.
