My buddy has these gross Bradford Pear trees in his front yard and I noticed something interesting going on with on of the lower branches.
It almost looks like the Bradford Pear branch is turning into a different tree. It looks like mistletoe or could just be a young branch. Any insights would be awesome.

You’re correct, it’s mistletoe. It should be pruned out and the tree will be fine. Your best bet is to cut it down and replace with a native.
Pruning it will not alleviate it from the tree.
