Rain did not deter more than a hundred people from touring around an award winning garden over the weekend.
Rob and Claire Bailey-Scott have taken a blank canvass to create a picturesque gardener’s paradise at Yew Tree Farm, Westhorpe Road, Gosberton, over the last 15 years.
The couple dedicate 12 to 13 hours a day over weekends to care for their one-and-a-half acre garden, which they have designed and planted since purchasing the Grade II listed farmhouse in 2007.

A large mulberry tree is the centre piece of one lawn while there is also a large wildlife pond with two bog gardens along with large borders to attract butterflies and bees. It also boasts a small orchard and an extensive vegetable plot.
Rob and Claire supported the National Open Garden Scheme on Sunday when they welcomed 150 people, who were not put off by the wet weather to admire this stunning space.
The event has also raised £2,000 for charities supported by the scheme.

Rob was pleased with the attendance considering the unfavourable weather conditions on the day.
He said: “People were really complimentary about the garden. They really enjoyed it and we have people coming back every year.
“Gardeners are very friendly people and appreciate the amount of work that goes into it.”
