
this is my crested geckos enclosure. the left side had an alocasia (which you might see) is now dying and laying down. i’m wondering what plants i could put in its place. i’m not sure the name of it but there’s one plant that has a very thick tree like stem and looks almost like a palm. that’s my first idea right now but looking for suggestions

You might be thinking of a dwarf umbrella plant?
I’d get a more mature Schefflera. The dwarf variety does well in vivariums. If you get one that is bigger it will fill out that space nicely and provide more climbing opportunities with its sturdy branches
More branches of any kind would be good in here. Theres a lot of empty space that is useless to the gecko
Some pothos planted in that wood and draped on the branches up high would be nice too.
Not sure what the tree you could be thinking of, maybe pony tail palm? They are more of an arid plant though
