Peace Lilly advice

Hi all!

Can anyone help with my Lilly is sad in one area? She had a drink a few days ago and has lived in this window since I got her a few years ago, I did move to other areas over the years but always went limp so brought her back to where she likes, she has new growth comming through under where she’s drooping but has been like this for a few weeks, was thinking to split and put the droopy part into water assuming water once the flower dies off I didn’t want to disturb her during this process what do we think?
