Any evening primrose plants that I didn’t cut back in May are now 6’ tall.

I swear all of mine are going for the moon this year

Yeah this is the first year I’ve really felt like I’m missing a middle height layer in some places. I just love the tall plants. There’s some young Indian grass and rattlesnake master. I can’t wait until they catch up in a season or two

Holy shit! That’s awesome. How do you keep them from flopping over?

Gorgeous plant, and totally slept on! It naturally grows together with helenium in the loveliest way where i live. Even takes some shade just fine

I saved this photo. I just started a perennial “fence” a long the back of my yard with cup plant and tall coreopsis. This gives me more ideas for back row plants.

My sunchoke is hitting 10-12’ tall this year. Insane.
