Hi,
I could really use some help. I have a Hoya and Gollum Succulent that aren’t doing well since I repotted them a month ago.
The Hoya leaf is turning black/brown and mushy. The Gollum succulent leaves are turning yellow and wrinkly (they immediately fall once you touch them).
I hadn’t had any of these issues before my repot. I’m wondering if the soil stays too moist after watering which is why this is happening. Possible root rot?
Current care
– they sit on a window ledge and get 8 hours of sun a day
– they are watered when the leaves get bendy (every three weeks or so)
– I put them in a sink full of water to water them from the pot holes and let them drain
– the repotting soil is succulent soil
– the pot resize is probably double/triple size up
Any tips would be much appreciated.

i only had to look at the first pic to tell u theres no airflow in that soil. its too tightly compacted and you dont have anything chunky to spread it out aside from the smaller grains of perlite. Im also gonna assume thats Peat Moss which is an Ok choice for growing medium but when it gets dry it becomes extremely hydrophobic and makes it hard to water anything in one go, especially if you dont have other soil ingredients. Im not here to crap on you, everyone has to kill a couple plants before they really understand the process but dw, your plant is fine it just needs to breathe and maybe a little water after you repot
