Life Home and Garden with Ana Rica
Hi, good morning everyone. I hope you are doing well. My name is Anora and welcome to my tiny backyard garden. So today we’re going to have an update of what’s going on here in our tiny backyard garden. Let’s start from this side right here. So right now my roses or some of them are blooming. So, this is the Captain Samuel Holland and it started to open up and it looks so pretty. Let’s take a look at it closer. Look how beautiful is this. This is about 2 years old rose and this is very winter hearty. I am planning to let it um grow all the way to the top of this tray. this right here and it would be look amazing. Really like this rose. And down right here we have the dalas and it’s soon going to bloom as well. I have uh four pots of dalas in here. Let’s see. It’s see the the bud. See it’s bing now. So, in about maybe a week or I’ll say about 3 days, we’re going to have the flower of the Dalia. So, here in the walkway, um both side I’ve planted roses. And on this side right here, we have the Jan Kabot. It’s not blooming yet, but there is one flower right there that I can show you from the Jan Kabot. Let’s see. Right here. So, it’s spending time to grow right now and that’s okay. Um, soon we’ll have more blooms from Jan Kabot and I will update you about that that rose now. So, this is the small walkway right here. We have some hydrangeas here. This is um I think endless summer hydrangeas. So, I’m waiting for it to bloom because this auna has been here for I think a year or two. I have never seen it bloom yet. So, we’ll see. And on this side right here, I have the generous gardeners. Well, the clatis have done blooming. So, this is the toki clatis. So, yeah, it’s done blooming. And on this side right here, we have the generous gardener. The generous gardener right here. I am going to let it climb all the way to the top of this trail right here. And I’m hoping that this will filled with generous gardener. And um beside it, so beside it is the toki. So I’m I’m excited to see how the both flowers um will um bloom and how it looks one of this day. So the generous gardener looks good or it’s buing right here and there’s one flower right there. It’s a bit old. And this is Yeah, this is an old flower of generous gardener as well. I just planted that recently too. And this is the kissmicate. New to the garden, too. And it’s nice and blooming. So, hopefully this kesmicate will grow all the way here. And then I like to rerick it right here to cover the front of the deck. So, we’ll see how it goes. And here we have the um this is northern sun. There’s no bloom yet, but I can see the buds right here. It’s budding. So, we’ll check it out next time. So, right here we have the James Galloway. And the James Galloway started to open. Look at that. So, the plan is to let the James Galloway climb on this trailers right here. And we have the gent monk rose, a winter hardy rose. Look how beautiful it is. And I love the way the flower looks droopy. And I like the way it is. Look how beautiful. And it is a disease resistant, too. Very, very pretty. The coline is blooming, but I’m not sure if this coline is staying in here. I might move move it somewhere. It’s new to the garden. I just planted this last year. And there’s a yellow h yellow flower above right here, too. And I like to show you my lumber claws. The lambert claws look so beautiful. Look at that winter hardy rose. and a very disease resistant as well. This is only one year old and the rose that I’m not sure if it is a modern blush or not. It’s blooming nicely. But look at that. This is This is um more than blush color, but this is white or kind of yellowish. So, we’ll see what happened to that. Maybe it’s reverting to more than blush or I’m not sure. If you guys have any idea, you let me know. And oh, look. Hold on. I’m just going to go backwards a little bit so that you can see the view in this side right here. So, in this side right here, we have the pat of dalia that is going to bloom soon. And then we have the um onion chibes that are blooming. Well, soon it’s going to finish. And all the impatients right here. And below there is a lot of strawberries down right there. all the way there. Let’s go this way where our sitting area is. I love this area. This is my favorite area to rest. Look at the verbina in the table. The verbina is only one plant, but look how much it bloom. Looks so pretty in here. And My um kala lily is blooming as well. I have one flower and I’m excited to show you. So this is the gent monks gent monks on this side a view in here. Very very pretty. And look how big is the flower of the gent monk. Look at that. It’s huge and it’s so pretty. Look at that. I love this flower. Yeah. And we have Crown Princess Margarita in here. Let’s see. Oh, right there. It’s hiding. Oh, we can’t see it. Hold on. Right there. That’s the Crown Princess Margarita. And um the plan is for this uh Prince Crown Princess Margarita to climb on this um obsolet. Look at that. They are so beautiful. Look at that. And then I’ve accompanied it with the Miss Batnam clades. So on this corner right here will be all the clades. So it’s going to look beautiful next year. And I have the more than blush right here. It’s done blooming, but I have one more flower that’s in here. So, that’s the modern blush. It’s new to the garden. Just planted it this spring. And the bird bath that the birds likes to come here every day to splash, to drink. Yeah, we have many, many birds that comes in here. Um, all the animal flowers I really really really I really really like. Especially the impatient look so pretty. A lot of pollinators love it. So I love it. I planted this last year and I said to myself, I’m going to plant it again next year. So yeah, soon this impatient were will overflow in here and it will grow more and it will cover the whole container. There’s more annual flowers right there. and my new down rose. My jun my new down rose is started to open up. So the new down rose is about 3 years old. This is the oldest rose in the garden. The clamatus is done blooming. So we in here we have the nell moer and hf young, but they’re done blooming. I have one flower left right there. Oh, look at this. This is the um Queen Elizabeth. It has one flower that’s going to open soon. And right here we have the um sapphire indigo clares and it’s just started to open up. Look how beautiful they are. All the hydrangeas at the back right here starting to bloom. It’s going to open up soon and I’m excited for that. Then I’m going to show you the pionis. Look at all the pionies. So many blooms. Look at that. We have a rain last night, so the flowers is a bit heavy, still full of water, but I’m so impressed with the peonies that we have here. I only have one pion, but I really, really love it. And then here is more coline. It’s a mixed color of white and yellow. I love the white, too. Look at the white. So pretty. And let’s see down below here. This is my Lichfield angel from David Austin. It started to bloom and it’s so pretty. And this is one of the animal that we have right here. I mean, there’s two in here. What’s the name of this one? This is called Pua. I only planted one plant in here. And look how massive it is. So, so pretty. And the Eden rose are starting to open. Look at how pretty it is. Nice. So this Eden rose, the plan is for it to climb in this arch right here. And then on the other side of the arch, I have planted a clamis. That’s multi-blue clamis. So hopefully next year I am excited to see what’s going on next year because uh my expectation is for the Eden to climb on this side and then for the multi-blue clamas to climb on this side as well. So it’s going to look really really beautiful. But we’ll see. And I have the um Perfuma Earth Angel as well. It’s right here. Hold on. Um shadow. Right here. It’s it’s it’s going to open up soon. I have two um flowers already from it. This is new to the garden as well. So a lot of roses are new to the garden. I just started well I started with few roses and then I fell in love with it and I said I’m going to buy more roses and now I have I think 16 or 18 roses in the garden. It’s a very tiny backyard garden, but I’m able to squeeze a whole bunch of plants in here. And most of them are actually um climber, so it doesn’t take so much space. So here in my vegetable garden, everything is grown from seeds. So you don’t need to um spend so much money to grow a vegetable garden. All we need is patience to grow it. So all my tomatoes are growing nicely. They grown from seeds. So I have a whole bunch of tomatoes right there. I have beep steak. I have big beef. So I have sweet millions. I have yellow pear-shaped tomatoes. And I have chocolate tomatoes that’s going to climb all the way to the top of this um um trailers. I have a lot of kale. and some peppers. Um I have the um what do you call this? Lemongrass. And then all the um the beans is growing starting to climb up. So this um fence link right here. So I use it to for the plant to climb. So we have um we have um squash, beans, cucumber, and bitter melon and some peas right here. So it will hold a lot of vegetables to climb in there. And then we have many tomatoes. So imagine this tiny area right here that I have. I’m able to squeeze a lot of vegetables and grow a lot of vegetables in here and really it hardly cost me anything cuz I do my own compost too. So, um when it comes to vegetable gardens, I like my vegetables to be organic. I don’t well I don’t I don’t fertilize it with um any um synthetic fertilizer. So yeah, so my small vegetable garden is organic and they are looking very very healthy. So anyways, um we have the deck there where we can hang out and eat our dinner or breakfast. Well, I haven’t done anything there yet, but let’s take a look a little bit. So, this is the deck right here. Um, soon I’m going to decorate the deck, but right now I don’t really have a time to do it. But I want to show you the view in here from the deck. So, if we are in the deck, this is our view right here of the garden. There you go. It’s a very, very nice day today. It’s not too hot. There’s a little bit of wind, but it’s a little bit humid, but it’s fine. We’re going to enjoy the nice weather that we have in here. So, anyways, I think that’s all for today. Just want to give you a an update of what’s going on here in our small or tiny backyard garden.
