Our favorite plant (this beaut), is partially yellowing after being repotted ~3-4 weeks ago.
When we repotted, we didn't remove the old moss/soil. We just added some more potting medium below and around, in a slightly bigger pot. We didn't really mess with the roots at all.
We don't frequently water this plant. Maybe 1-2x a month – gets loads of light too. We've had her for maybe 16 months now.
I noticed one leaf on the now-yellow stem about 2 weeks ago starting to look like it was losing vigor. A few days ago, I noticed that whole stem to be yellow.
Now, I'm seeing other leaves on other stems start to show the same loss of vigor, and I'm worried that without intervention, those stems will similarly go yellow.
I'm seeing new growth from other rhizomes, but the damage seems to be clustered around one specific one?
No signs of pests, we water 1-2x a month (generally, 1x every 3-4 weeks as needed, go by weight of pot and finger test). She seems pretty light and dry now (haven't watered since repotting), so I'm about to water, but concerned that maybe it's over-watering?
Any help is appreciated!
Thanks 🙂

You’ve got to loosen at least the outermost layer of roots when repotting
Why did you decide to repot?
No need to worry about loosening roots when you repot, roots know what to do.
I would be worried about yellowing from the roots staying moist for too long. If you were watering every 3 to 4 weeks and the plant was happy then it doesn’t sound like it needed a bigger pot/more soil.
More light can help the plant process more water.
Maybe it’s just repotting stress. You might lose a few leaves or small stems while it adjusts.
How are you watering? Are you letting it dry out and then letting it sit in water for a while to soak it up from the bottom?
How to make this plant grow faster/better? I’ve just got this plant a few weeks ago and don’t see any new growth as of yet. Not that it should but just wondering how to take care of this plant? Does it require a lot of light? Water ?
