I live in Scotland and heard how difficult it can be to get these to grow, so I thought I’d try to grow them on my windowsill.
I grew the plant from seed and had to hand pollinate the plant. I managed to get 4 melons which isn’t many, but I’m still really proud of myself! I don’t have anyone to share my success with, I hope you don’t mind me sharing it here 🙂

Success is success getting that fruit to where you enjoy that little moment of that was so tasty and i grew it. Thanks for sharing I will have to look these up , we have a sun lounge room that reaches 50′ in summer and what ever the temperature outside is in winter , so its either too cold or too hot to sit in, a bit like the three bears porridge. But it does mean summer time it provides an environment to experiment, and these sound like one of those experiments. Ill note these into my gardening book for next year and head of down the small mellon rabbit hole.
