That’s a tree of heaven. Highly invasive weed that can get the size of a tree. No joke.

It’s still young—you can carefully dig it all out. This is a tree that once established is very hard to kill, sends out new shoots after a cut.
Accomplished_Edge_29
Yeah. Torch it all. Bugs first.

Tree of heaven suckers new growth from the roots. You should try and remove it entirely.

Around my property black walnuts are everywhere. There are so many, you would almost think they are invasive if you could see how many saplings are growing here. I’ve found two tree of heavens strategically placed, pretending to be black walnuts. I don’t know where they came from. This is the first I’ve seen these in 10 years living here.

Tree of Heaven & Spotted Lantern Fly nymphs. Both species are causing an invasion meltdown: when two invasive species thrive off of each other and decimate an ecosystem/habitat. Kill it with fire.

I remember this as kid — a huge tree of heaven in my neighbors yard. I’ll never forget the smell — stinks to high heaven! (pun intended)
