hey y’all well I am in Virginia Beach at McDonald’s Garden Center and I am back in my old stomping grounds so this is one of my favorite nurseries when we used to live here so me and Hardy are up here for the next couple of days so I thought I would come and take a look and see what all they had it is pretty windy today and it also the traffic is pretty bad so I am going to probably do a voice over on this video but I just want to give you guys a glimpse of everything because it is so beautiful here make sure you follow them on their social media at McDonald’s Garden Center because they do a really fantastic job they do it’s so cute all right guys so let’s go take a look at McDonald’s okay so McDonald’s Garden Center is situated right off of Independence Boulevard in Virginia Beach and it has a beautiful setting so over here in the parking lot it has beautiful mature trees look how beautiful and the landscape is just exquisite here they have these huge pots that they always have decked out so beautiful for each season so here is a look at their spring containers so beautiful and then as we go over through here look at this beautiful wall with the pots so pretty so I love how everything is just kind of like positioned in rooms and you walk from one room to the next you’ll have some areas that are full sun like over here in this courtyard and then I have a little place over here where they do the workshops but then you’ll also have a place like over here which is really nice and it’s in the shade super nice in the summertime lots of statuaries look how cute look at the beautiful shadow of the palm but as we go down we’ll go back out into the full sun but there’s an old house there so it looks like they’re celebrating their 80th year here in Virginia Beach and they also do little popups throughout the Hampton Road areas when they get all of their annuals in so if you’re not close to the Virginia Beach area you can find one of their popups and one of the things that I think Hampton Roads is known for is Japanese maples so they have lots of Japanese maples over here if you ever come to this area of Virginia you’ll see lots of Japanese maples in people’s yards very pretty how pretty these pots are like a just a little lane of maples here this one’s really pretty looks like they’re coming from Eley’s nursery yep oriola lease lace leaf maple check out this crepe myrtle i’d say that one’s been here for a while nice places to [Music] sit and then you even have some little Japanese maples so pretty and more Japanese maples i love it okay so going from the Japanese maple lane look at this area through here a lot of blueberries lots of pretty evergreens nice little place that you can sit really really pretty these blueberries are stunning so pretty just for a little hedge of them these are bountiful delight blueberries by Monrovia really pretty over here in this room we have more Japanese maples and then we’ve got some beautiful magnolia look at that big magnolia over there and these Japanese maples over here in the corner are tucked in these really big pots look at that pot wow that is a big tree instant impact if you plant these over this way we have some beautiful Laura pedlums and then we have this beautiful red bud look at that so gorgeous this is the rising sun red bud more pedums and then we have some really sunshiny looking Ailia this is the kaleidoscope and over here we have some viburnums and then we have a beautiful lilac called the Bloomerang dark purple they have a lot of those look at how cute this blue spruce is this from Eley this is the Monty blue spruce so cute all right so let’s go underneath this really pretty pergola here we have some more magnolia and then we have some topiaries this is the emerald colonade holly really pretty such a elegant formal look and this is the teddy bear magnolia that’s really cute we just planted some little gems and then underneath here we have some more shade which is really nice we’ve got some muse down there and going over through here some beauty berry and then some chameleas really pretty a pretty rock back there i like that so cool underneath here and this is some daffany this smells really good through here and then we have some beautiful dog woods that are enjoying the shade pretty hey so some more of the little spruces look at that one you got a little chubier on one side and then some more of the arborite these are the emerald greens and they look really pretty i’m going to give y’all a little bit of an elevated view look at how much nursery space they have and then as you can see we’re right in town so there is a fireplace and a medical building over there and down the street is Chick-fil-A so we’re right in town okay so we’re just going to go through this area they have a lot of the magnolia through here and then you have more of the chameleas so just those beautiful southern plants that we all love they’ve got some pretty trees over here these are a river birch look how pretty the bark is on those heeling i like that a lot got them in little trios and then over here we’ve got some cherry trees so pretty okay so over here we’ve got all of our terracotta pots got some really pretty ones i love that the rolled rim top got a really big one through here nice and they’ve got some little feet for them and some more over here and then they’ve got their glaze pottery on that side lots of different colors of glaze but it looks like that the blue is the most popular color and I could definitely see with the blue and aqua being very popular here near the beach a pretty white up here i like that a lot got a bee on it okay so now here is all of their annuals that they have out right now so we’re still pretty early because we are almost April but look at this beautiful alysum you know guys this is one of my favorites love alysum they have all the colors of alysum light purple multicolored and then the dark purple look at how pretty this verbena is this is the Tuscany scarlet so pretty lots and lots of snapd dragons miraolds and some beautiful kolas and here we are in Patunia land lots of pretty patunias this is the silver dust dusty miller okay so always front and center they have all of their proven winners so we’ve got some of their sweet potato vine here this is the sweet caroline and then over here we have the sweet Caroline light green but the other one was jet black and this one here is the raven really pretty okay and always our favorite the superunia vistas this is the Picasso in purple and then the royal velvet and this looks like a jasberry over here and here is their new one the tiara blue look how pretty i don’t see the tiara pink they may be all gone and then here is the loveydovey and the saffron finch and the bordeaux which everyone loves and then we have the pmen and there’s a mini vista indigo and a mini vista yellow and then over here we have all the super bells caliber koas all the pretty colors and the superbas this is the peachy keen and this is the sparkling sparkling amethyst and a sparkling rose and this is the white out and here is the red these are pretty combinations here with the purple and white and then over here this is pretty as well have all the blues and purples and whites together so this is a liabilia here laguna sky blue okay look how gorgeous these hanging baskets are so pretty let’s go inside this little house here that’s grass down oh this is pretty oh they’re bird feeders and bird seed the seed bars you can go and get seeds here bulk seeds sweet idea [Music] sounds like birds in here oh neat that takes you into a different world okay so let’s go out and we’ll go over to the next section it’s like being an amusement park for garden centers look at this huge tree wow we’ll head over to the greenhouse cute little bonsai [Music] here how pretty this is little percola this would be a great place to go to in the winter so that’s a pretty pot there like that four pots oh those are really pretty with the bark that’s neat lots of house plants and of course you got to have your garden gnome acorns pots i like the blue ones wow all these plants and more plots and over here they have all their tones and fertilizers so one of the things I’ve been looking for is the alpha alpha meal and they had that and then they also [Music] had the langite and this is for the Ben Wendon’s magic mix for roses this is so pretty through here so I think we’ve reached the geranium land all kinds of different geraniums here this is one that I’m growing this year the bullseye salmon so excited about that i love the pink and the white so pretty and that white just pops and I think we’re going to go outside and go see what they have out this way okay so they have lots of veggies out this way and they’ve got some fruit trees you see their little cucumber [Music] starts lots and lots of veggies already got the tomatoes and peppers out and all of their little trees over here lots of apple trees and plum trees and peach trees all really pretty right now look how beautiful this variegated iris is so pretty gorgeous that is a neat hoop there look at those pretty iron work a bliss there very pretty okay guys so we are all finished and I’ll show you what I got so I got some of this alpha alpha meal we’re going to use this around our roses and then we have the lango benite i’m not sure how you pronounce that but it has the um soluble pod ash magnesium and sulfur and this is also good for our raises so successful trip because I have not been able to find this where I live at okay guys so we are all finished here at McDonald’s nursery thank you so much for going shopping with me today so we’re just going to end it here beside
