So, this is the bed that I redid in my last video. Uh, we are having some drainage issues here. This is our first summer in this house, and this corner over here stays a bit wet. We are located in Florida and it rains just about every day here in the summer. So, the plants that were here before were not doing well. I relocated those and then put in some things that will do okay in moist soil. So, I put in some iris and then I put in a Luna hibiscus, which is beautiful. I think I might actually get a couple more of these. And then this plumbago was on the side of the house with a couple others and it was not getting enough sun in the spot that it was in. I think it was getting too shaded from the trees. So, that should do well there. Gets pretty much full sun all day. And then agapanthis sunshine legustrm looking really pretty. And then the crepe merl is blooming. So pretty. These are a few agapanthas that have already bloomed. And I just leave what’s left because I think it still looks kind of fun. Like little sparklers. So on this side of the house, this is the spot that I had that other plumb baggo that I moved to the front. Um there are these trees up here. So we get sun but mostly towards this side. Um so I was thinking of adding a few more things in here. This is the west side. So, it gets hot afternoon sun. I may put in a few things. I’m not sure yet. Then I’ll probably just bring some more things down here. I’ve got my deraniums in the pots down here. Getting a little watering from the rain. I’ve got a this is a patriot bright red and it looks really pretty when it’s bloom. It’s getting pretty big. I might actually have to get it into a different pot. And then these two, I’m not sure of the name, but they are light pink with like the darker pink in the middle. This is the bed off of the back porch. And we’ve got a crepe myrtle that has not yet bloomed. Got some dilly, some yellow, I’m not sure the name, some sun hosta, got a sunshine lagustrum back there, and then some confederate jasmine growing up this trellis. I think this gets pretty much full sun all day in this spot. This is south facing. So, I think I’m going to get some more things, of course, to like fill in this spot here and over here. I was thinking about doing just different kind of dillies, but I think I’m just going to try to fill this bed out and do like a mix. Like over here gets um I would say part sun cuz it’s covered. And then in here, it’s more full sun. And then of course when the crate gets larger, it’ll create some shade. But these plants should do well there. And then I moved one of these sun hosta here. Hello little lizard. And I think I’m going to get um there’s a lot of like light foliage things brighter, which I love, but I I kind of want to get something with some darker greens. And then I feel like I need some pink back here. So I might get like one, two, three of something. Um not sure yet. I forgot to say if you watched my first video with the little tour, I did have a knockout rose here and then another one on the other side, but they were not doing well. I don’t know, guys. I know knockout roses are supposed to be pretty easy, but I am not good with roses. So, those those are now those are gone. So, we’re going to try something else here. I do have a couple. Um, I have this one on the northwest corner. And then I have one in the island bed up front, which was in the front bed that was staying too wet. So, I just went ahead and moved that. I think it’s doing well in the spot it’s in. Now, I’ll go show you. So, this is my little island bed up front. Got a guacamole hosta right there that I don’t know. I’m new to hosta. We live in a very hot uh location. Florida zone 9A. And this is my first time doing hosta. I did get, you know, ones that say that they can do okay in the heat. Um, guacamole sun hosta. So, and then this is the white wedding hydrangeanger that was also in the front bed, but once it started raining quite a bit, I noticed it was looking very sad. So, doesn’t look great right now, but it is doing a lot better. So, it’s definitely happier here um more so than it was in the other spot. And then I’ve got some salvia back here which has been doing really well. Um it gets I would say part sun. So at our old house I had this and it was full sun and it would get just so hot and the leaves would look really bad. But it’s very happy here. So that’s nice. And the bees love the salvia. And then this is the other knockout rose here. Got a guacamole hosta there. Sun hosta back here. And then um I’m actually not sure the name of that one. I can’t remember. I keep forgetting. And then got a vintage jade distill here. Um yeah. So have some empty spots here. This has kind of turned into my little red, white, and blue bed, which I love. So, you know, slowly I’ll add in some more things. So, I’m back around back now. Sorry, I’m kind of popping around all over the place, but this is our back porch. I’m not sure if I actually showed it in the other videos, but um here, let me stand back so you can get a better idea. So, yeah, we absolutely love this. We spend a lot of time out here when it’s cool out and like football season, we will um bring like a cart out with the TV on it and watch football games and hang out with our family and friends and it’s great. Um so, and then this is south facing. So, this is full sun pretty much all day. Got the crepe myrtle there. This is where I had the um knockout roses. I had one over there and then right there. So, yeah, I’m going to fill this in and just have a lot of color. You know, I really when we moved in, so I did the landscaping myself and I was like, “Okay, I’m going to put in um all perennials and try to keep it everything evergreen so that um you know, we’ll have something all year and there won’t be gaps.” But now I’m like, what? Why? Like, just take advantage. Like, you have a very long um season. I see a cardinal and a bunny right now. I’ll show you in just a second. And birds. Oh my gosh, the birds. The bunnies. Anyways, I got distracted because I see the bunny. I’ll show you guys in a second. He’s so cute. Um, but yeah, we have such a long growing season here and this is a full sun spot. So, I’m going to take advantage, you guys. I’m going to fill in everything slowly, of course. Um, plants are very expensive right now. So, yeah. Okay, let me turn you around here. You can see little bunny. He’s so cute. And I don’t think he’s been an issue with eating any plants yet. I might have things that they’re just not, you know, into. But he’s munching on something over there in the woods. Oh my gosh, he’s so cute, guys. And then there’s some little birds having some lunch in the bird feeder here. So, these are the raised beds. I’ve got, of course, some zenas, which are the best. Super easy. And then this basil is going crazy. I need to get in here and um cut the tops off a little bit. And then I’ve got some other herbs. There’s some rosemary over there. This one, some oregano, some rosemary or zenas. I need to get in here and clean up. I need to stake some things up because like as you can see here, maybe stake these up. And then I actually ordered some more seeds, some of the Oklahoma salmon, which are really pretty, and those should be in in the next few days. So, I’m going to clean this up and then put those in here. And it stays hot here for quite a while. So, should get some good time um to enjoy those once I get those planted. And then I planted some sunflower seeds, but I was going to say just one, but I think there’s a little tiny one down there. But this one looks nice and healthy, so looks like it should be blooming soon. [Music]

A big section of lillies looks really good. Not only are the flowers beautiful, the long bluish-green leaves look good too. The hydrangeas and hosta are looking good. Those are two of my go-to plants.
