If these are not blooms, are they new plants? I've had these for a year now and never saw this before. *As a second question, does anyone know the name of mine (see 2nd pic also for identification) Thanks

    If you’re referring to the little brown shoots at the base with green tips, they’re aerial roots!! Not a bloom and not a new plant, they just mean your plant is happy and wants to stay where it is.
