The Ohio State University Lake County Master Gardener Volunteers announced their next Meet Us in the Garden talk begins at 10:00 a.m. Aug. 2 at the Mentor Public Library’s Main Branch, 8215 Mentor Ave.

The topic will be “Planning a Landscape Garden from the Ground Up.” This presentation will show attendees how to create a nature-friendly landscape within a mostly open yard, according to a news release

There will be a question-and-answer session afterward, and brochures for these monthly talks through November will be available at this session and at the library.

Looking ahead, the Sept. 6 talk at 10:00 a.m. is on “All You Really Need to Know About Bulbs.”
