Ayyyy SUSAN! I had the Chrissy doll also, fourth grade. It was my last doll and I actually got her hair stuck inside her, it was SO upsetting. I think I'm older than you though (64).
And the burled wood french bird prints….just gorgeous! But yes, expensive for everyday people.
The new bistro set in the Arbor Garden will be a sublime sippin-sweet-tea spot when the Linden tree is blooming overhead!

That blue firework flower is called Blue Vervain. It does look native to your area. It does germinate from seed really easily and is a favourite with birds. It would look great next to your stream!

Benjamín 43:49 should become a citizen scientist for bird tracking. I learned to love the birds when I moved to my current house. The neighborhood is classify as a bird sanctuary due to your small lake. We have everything from Herons to hawks to yellow finches, blu birds. I have counted over 26 species just in my backyard!
BTW squirrels make that sound all the time. 😂 so funny Susan. Their fighting. They do that when they chase each other for reasons 😉

I am SO GLAD that you got those candelabras with the vases attached!! You hadn't mentioned that you bought them, and I had absolutely fallen in love with them. Can't wait to see them all set up with flowers and candles! I always use the battery operated (Luminara) lights – they are really realistic and safe, especially around flowers. Can't wait to see where that gorgeous table ends up, too! Great to have Benjamin join the shopping team!! 💜
So wonderful to have Benjamin along; it's fun to see what catches his eye. I loved seeing the Crissy and Velvet dolls. For Christmas one year my sister was given Crissy and I was given Velvet. We adored them.
