Amazing rock waterfall with a plunge pool at the bottom.

If it were my yard, and considering the fence…You could have the perfect lawn and it would be…perfectly boring. I would do a terraced wildflower garden. Low maintenance, but much more to look at.

I have a hill similar in my yard. I have a nice lawn about 12 feet from the patio, then when the hill kicks in, its all wildflowers and perennials, bird feeders, pumpkins, etc. Its my most recent post if you want to have a look.
Someone else mentioned terraces, a terraced veggie garden was my dream but I had too much other stuff going on and wasn’t going to pay for that. But it can be done cheap if you can provide the labor.

My cousins had a hill like that and their yard when we were kids and we just doubled up our slip and slides and tried to kill ourselves.

Looks like my last yard. I hated it. Good luck.

I moved to southern California and we’ve been looking at a lot of houses that have backyards like this. I can’t imagine a scenario where I get a house like this and don’t dig some kind of underground room/workshop with big French doors or some kind of overhead door.

If you golf, make some sort of chipping/ski ball setup either with a short mowed warm season grass or astroturf type material

Put in some wildflowers and bushes on the upper part where it’s hard to get to, add some stairs and terraced garden beds for the lower portion to plant some vegetables, fruit or some more flowers. Maybe add a bench into the bank, add a raised deck maybe.
