a couple months ago we had a client reach out saying he had a pretty steep yard with Bermuda grass he said the trees are shading a large portion of the yard which is not allowing the grass to grow we came to the conclusion that installing fescue sod was the best option since it grows well with little sunlight before installing the sod I brought in a roto tiller to soften up the soil and remove any rocks i then added a fresh layer of top soil after each piece of sod was installed I added staples to asssure it doesn’t move when the sod’s walked on or being watered i installed sod in three different areas on this property the backyard sideyard and the front yard five total pallets were installed so around 2500 square ft a couple days ago I checked in with the client to make sure the sod was growing properly he said that all the roots have taken and that the grass is growing well this was one of those projects that felt incredible to complete because of how awesome the yard looked once it was done a few shots of the final results i really appreciate you guys watching the content and until next time peace

Would Zoysia not have worked? It does well in partial sun.
Sod never looks good but this is a particularly bad job
Dang I need some Fescue my trees are shading the yard now.
I feel like this is such a crazy job because the homeowner can just forget to water it then sue you and say your grass died
It will be interesting to see how fescue thrives in hot, low-sun conditions. The bermuda-fescue line will also be interesting to see which one thrives best. If the meet-up line is thin, hand-sewn fescue in the Fall should help.
Thays great work. My worry is americans arent gona have money for the extras. No watering grass. No hard scaping. No mowing once a week. I used to love hittin the bar here and there and grabbing food. Its been years since i paid someone to cook for me. Beer is cheaper at home
Some of my sod still had not rooted in the soil in year 2 ! ! ! I was shocked I could still roll it up. Yikes ! Even after a snowy winter.
Jesus christ get the big rolls this is pointless we all know u can hire it out for half the price anyway if u dont own any machines who buys pallets of sod
We need to start planting native species here
What do you do with yards that have billions of red ants !!
your obviously in the transition area, So cool an warm seasons will both do equally well in summer months . But 1, If the whole yards bermuda why mix it why not use Zoysia a closer alternative with good shade tolerance or use St Augustine? The choice of Fescue didnt make much sense to me given the circumstances that I can see, maybe theres more too it though
The yard is SO CLOSE to habitat for critters, and/or their egress. Why would establishing and maintaining lawn be considered an improvement?! I don't get why people do this?!?! 😮
Your voice 😂
I laid sod that yard looks beat up after your done
What is a good alternative for Bermuda grass? I'm allergic
Better water retention if you went horizontal with the hill ?
Nice. Ur good😊
What waste for homeowner…Perfect spot for some garden bed.
I would probably have used hardscaping rocks and terraces it with steps and then planted some shade bushes that work in your area like Azaleas, Rhododendron, Gardenias, and Hydrangeas work in the south
Excellent
What do you charge?
Good job 👍🏽
That was professional work. Amazing!
How much did the sod cost?
psssh in my lawn the shaded lawn is the only grass that survives
Damn did it alone too! What you charge for
Something like that
Imagine having all that space and spending thousands to then further pour a vital and shrinking resource down the drain for a fruitless crop…every time I see one of those fussed over lawns that some guy has attached the entirety of his self worth and weekends into, I just roll my eyes. Selfish and stupid.
Nice work
Great job
I hate the construction industry or labor industry so much. Why do they call Saud grass? Why when you paint a house they call it wall out there’s no point insane wall out when it’s called painting there’s no point in calling sod when his grass these words are just used to confuse people and should charge more money.
Nice work 👍
I wanna see you running that tiller on the hill 😂
Beautifully
Why wouldn’t you plant native species? Would help better with erosion and be much more beneficial to the environment than thirsty grass. Boo 👎
Cost??
Staples, that probably won't be removed, will rust and have nice sharp edges like rusty nails. Then when you or your kids go out to walk on it without shoes, you will have a nice trip to the clinic for a Tetanus shot. If you have to use staples for a few day / weeks until the roots take hold, tie pink tree marking ribbon around them , so you call pull them up later.
Love the way Americans call Turfs sod. In the UK sod is a mild swear word.
Beautiful ❤️
Lot of water bills.
Lol I would of done seed lol..
American TANAH LUAS tapi kosong tiru lah orang china rajin KELILING rumah penuh dengan sayuran TUMBUHAN hidup pun senang jadilah manusia rajin
Cant belive how much people pay for grass. Grass sucks
Oh my gosh, I wish you would’ve fix my yard. Oh my gosh this was beautiful.
Kudos for making money, but wow i will never understand why ppl are so picky about grass
Bermuda is so invasive and I just don't like it. Our neighbor's Bermuda infiltrated our yard after he removed a natural barrier of lilly of the Nile plants separating our yards. Our nice fescue grass slowly choked away and the Bermuda took over a long with weeds. Nothing we did would or has stopped it. Now our lawn is ugly and dry, especially thanks to a drought we had a few years ago with mandated no watering days. I'd like my lawn green again, can I plant fescue without the Bermuda taking over again?
He doesn’t need grass there. He needs erosion preventing plants that’s don’t need to be mowed.
Great work.. how much did you charge for that job?
Soo… cut the tress?? Idfkk.. we came to the conclusion. That dude has more money than common sense. 😂😂
Job well done 🫡🫡
Great money
