sharxx areole graft on my strongest pere cutting.

The graft took, and has stayed plump for well over a month now, but the pere keeps trying to push new stalks rather than pump the scion. I’ve been plucking off new sprouts from the stalk, but just can’t get the scion to get going.

Tried peepee tek in low concentration as this is inside my grow room and don’t want piss smell.

Any input is appreciated.

I did a graft like this, and it took about 4 months for the graft to push a pup. It’s looking good. As long as it looks healthy it will pup eventually.

I’m not good at grafting but doesn’t cutting the leaves off the pere help encourage growth of the graft? Just something I typically do.

Coconut water and pee, stronger light after it is for sure grafted and good union is made.

Don’t do any of this crazy mess anyone says!! Just keep the pere watered well with lots of sun. Keep the lil pere sprouts knocked off asap when you find them. It’ll eventually get the message!
