Mine came like this! I think it was grown in full sun but it slowly reverted to light pink

I think so! It needs a lot of sun for that color that. That happens with my variegated pearls when they’re in the direct sun.

  3. Mine are like this! I’ll take a picture when I get home in a few hours they’re in direct sun on a south facing window. They get direct sun from about 9am-5pm they love it!

Yes with a grow light or in a greenhouse. Mine was very vivid when I first got it but did fade a touch over the years. Still
Very pink but not that deep of a color

I’m just starting to experiment with my first SoH outdoor grow, I’d love to get color like this.

I’m sure they can if they’re getting tons of light on par with what a true succulent or cacti would need. Mine are less pink than that and they get like five hours of sun through a South-facing window from a few inches away (just imagine the very best conditions for receiving as much light as possible through a window and this is that). I’m going to test this out actually and see if I can get some of mine to turn that pink under grow lights.

It depends on the light. Mine are a much paler pink – but we have plant wizards out there so it could definitely be real! I’m always amazed at what someone is able to do w a plant that everyone else has

  8. Variegated string of hearts can appear this pink in reality but it is a result of sun stress. Not necessarily bad for them as far as I’ve read, but it requires a very healthy dose of bright sun frequently.
